Synergy contributes to numerous charitable organizations:

This past holiday season, Synergy joined with Compass Family Services to “Adopt-a-Family” in San Francisco. We were paired with a family of two. Dymphena is 33 years old with a medical condition that keeps her from working. She has a 9 year old daughter, AJ, that likes to color, draw, cook, and play basketball. This past Christmas, we were able to provide the following items:

The agency’s four programs support more than 3,000 parents and children each year in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Services include crisis intervention, homeless prevention, emergency shelter, transitional housing, intensive case management and therapy, job training, enriched infant care and childcare, and permanent housing placement.
Synergy Corporate Housing annually joins Compass Group for its Adopt-A-Family program. Synergy is paired with a family who recently moved into permanent affordable housing. Synergy has partnered with Brook furniture to provide a full set of furniture for the bedroom, living room and dining room in this family’s apartment. Synergy also supplied a full set of housewares including kitchenware, cleaning supplies and bathroom supplies.
This past holiday, Synergy provided a single mother and her 10-year-old daughter with an American Express Gift Check so the family could purchase necessities for the New Year. Synergy also partnered with Safeway.com to ensure the family had groceries for its holiday meal.

Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs for the American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Today, more than three million Americans participate in Relay events nationwide.
Synergy joined many in the South Bay for this overnight event. Synergy Corporate Housing also made a monetary donation to the American Cancer Society.
The daffodil, one of the first flowers of spring, is also a symbol of hope. To the American Cancer Society, the flower symbolizes the promise of a world free of cancer. Daffodil Days supports the Society's mission to eliminate cancer by encouraging people to make contributions to the Society and receive daffodils.

The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight against breast cancer. Participants walk 60 miles in three days, and help raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research and patient support programs.
Along the way, participants get all the support they need for training and fundraising. Each night of the event, walkers experience an incredible mobile city that includes more than just sleeping tents and warm showers — they can eat, relax and renew their spirits with fellow walkers.
Synergy employees have participated in the 3-Day walk in San Diego with the sponsorship of Synergy Corporate Housing. Synergy has also taken the initiative to sponsor clients who have chosen to join this walk.

Goodwill Industries will enhance the quality and dignity of life for individuals, families, and communities on a global basis, through the power of work, by eliminating barriers to opportunity for people with special needs, and by facilitating empowerment, self-help, and service through dedicated, autonomous local organizations.
Synergy Corporate Housing donates all “used” housewares, including kitchen and bathroom necessities and appliances to the Goodwill store in Union City, California. This service is coordinated through our distribution team at our Distribution warehouse, located in Union City, California.

The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Synergy joined other corporations in sponsoring a Golf Tournament where each hole was considered a stop, and Synergy offered raffle prizes, food and monetary gifts for the players.
