Living Green: Synergy Quality for People and Planet

Caring about the planet is simply an extension of that commitment. We’re proud to announce our greener, more sustainable corporate model. It’s called Green Initiatives and it’s a serious, ongoing effort dedicated to reducing Synergy’s carbon footprint.
Here are a few ways Synergy’s Green Inititiatives are making a difference:
- Blue Sky Cleaners is the only certified environmentally friendly dry cleaner in Northern California. Synergy utilizes Blue Sky Cleaners for all of our dry cleaning needs and is proud to provide this option to its corporate clients.
- We use Greenlite florescent bulbs in our corporate apartments. This energy efficient lightbulb saves 70% energy compared to a regular bulb.
- Our housekeeping service uses environmentally safe products. Using natural and non-toxic cleaning supplies to clean our corporate apartments ensures good relations with the planet as well as with ourselves.
- Our corporate office buys and uses only recycled paper products.
- An information card is placed near every thermostat in our corporate apartments, letting clients know how best to conserve energy when setting the temperature.
- We are providing organic grocery tote bags in all apartments, to replace the usage of plastic grocery bags. These bags are non toxic, non corrosive, non allergenic and are reusable.
- And we encourage recycling! Our offices and our apartments have blue recycle bins conveniently located to remind everyone to recycle.
Simple, conscientious decisions are key steps to thinking about our planet and our future. Not only is supporting our planet smart, it fits with the Synergy experience. As part of our vision, we are actively seeking partnerships with similarly green companies. We are also looking to convert all our move-in supplies to earth friendly resources.
