Cara has extensive experience in the service and hospitality sectors, specializing in leadership roles encompassing sales, account management and supply chain. With an impressive background, she steps into her role with Synergy as the head of the tri-regional Supply Chain for the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions.

Synergy to Acquire Primestone Housing Solutions

Strategic move expands Synergy’s US footprint and grows global client base

San Ramon, CA and New York, NY, December 5, 2023 — Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), a leader in serviced accommodation program management, and Primestone Partners, a New York-based, advisory and housing solutions firm, today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Synergy will acquire Primestone Housing Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

Primestone Housing Solutions, which arranges extended-stay housing for corporate clients, is one of three businesses operated by parent company, Primestone Partners.

With this acquisition, Synergy will be able to drive additional revenues through expansion of its current client base and new strategic relationships with multifamily property managers and owners in New York, the Southeast and additional regions throughout the US.

“Synergy and Primestone have been supply chain partners on scores of transactions in recent years, creating a natural fit for our two companies,” said Henry Luebbert, Synergy Co-founder. “By leveraging Synergy’s scale and Primestone’s relationships, this transaction will be highly accretive for our company and will provide our clients with access to a host of new apartment options nationwide.”

Synergy Appoints Masood Ahmed to Bolster India Expansion

Key hire follows exponential growth of company’s India region

Bengaluru, November 7, 2023 – Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), a leader in international serviced accommodation management, announced the appointment of Masood Ahmed, Business Development and Supply Chain Manager, APAC. This is a significant step for Synergy, following the company's record-breaking growth in India in 2023, and its substantial expansion across the Asia Pacific region in recent years.

Masood’s hybrid role will see him focus on developing new strategic relationships with clients throughout India, while also collaborating with supply chain partners across APAC. This is in line with Synergy’s objective to broaden its footprint within the region, and means Synergy will now have both sales and supply chain representation in India for the first time.

Well entrenched in the India travel and mobility space, Masood brings with him an impressive 25 years of experience across corporate travel, MICE and procurement, where he was responsible for the development of robust and progressive relationships with high profile global clients. He will have a dual reporting line to Sofia Oragano, Senior Director, International Sales and Jacqueline Ang, Director of Supply Chain, APAC.

San Ramon, CA, August 14, 2023 — Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), a global leader in serviced accommodation program management, today announced the promotion of industry veteran Claire Barrie to Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing. With over two decades of temporary living experience and a proven track record as a sales leader, Barrie brings a wealth of expertise to her new role at the company.

Barrie joined Synergy 4 years ago as Vice President Sales, EMEA charged with creating a revenue stream for the company from new European customers. Having made significant progress in that region, she quickly expanded to building out sales efforts in APAC as Vice President Sales, EMEA and APAC. Most recently, Barrie had Eastern US added to her responsibilities. With all three regions firmly producing, she once again has had the scope of her role increased to include oversite of all sales globally. Barrie will be working closely with Susan Becker, VP of Sales, US, Robert Wyatt, VP of Client Services and Robin Spindel, VP of Marketing.

Prior to Synergy, Barrie was VP of Sales at BridgeStreet, where she played a pivotal role in growing that company’s European presence. Before that, she was Director of Sales for Oakwood Worldwide where she held three progressive positions during her 14 plus years with that organization.

Synergy and Bureau Veritas Announce First Supplier Partners to Achieve “Accommodation Excellence” Certification

Asserts Suppliers in Synergy’s Housing Network Uphold the Highest Level of Standards

San Ramon, CA, August 22, 2023 — Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), a leader in serviced accommodation program management, today announced the first eight furnished apartment operators to receive the certification for “Accommodation Excellence” from global ratings company Bureau Veritas. This independent agency has provided an unbiased audit of select Synergy top supplier partners and determined their adherence to the highest industry standards of product consistency and delivery of an above average guest experience.

Partners were assessed in categories such as contractual compliance, physical security of the perimeter of the building and reliability. The criteria for this certification goes well beyond the physical assets and amenities of the lodging, including criteria such as credit checks and maintaining the appropriate licenses needed to operate.
